I have been pleased with the standard of ski ability our clients have been coming with allowing me to take them on more challenging routes across the Cairngorm area. I have ticked endless assents of the Feshie hills (Sgoran Dubh Mor, Sgor Gaoith and Carn Ban Mor) as well as many different routes in the Drumochter area (Carn na Cairn, A’Bhuidheanach Bheag, Geal-charn and a new favourite A’Mharconaich) and Monadhliath mountains (A’Chailleach and Carn Sgulain).

We also managed a little R&R time for our selves and headed over to visit Roy in the Alps for a lads touring trip. Weather and avalanche conditions were against us but we still managed to tick off the Lauettes from the Dix hut as well as the Daubenhorn, the Mittelgipfel and the Wildstrubel from the Gimmipass. This waas the first time we had spent much time touring in Switzerland and were very impressed with the standard of the huts and of course the skiing was amazing.

So what does the summer hold for us? Well we will have our usual mix of stag and hen white water rafting and canyoning trips most weekends as well as our family activity programme running through every week. On top we will still be developing our sea kayaking courses with
