Well another great day on Cairngorm day one intro ski mountaineering.
Thanksfully the temperature was up and the hard icy conditions we have had for the last week or so has softened a little. With a some carfull route selection you can still get around the hill no worries without Harshissen but I would advice carrying anyway.
The small pockets of wind slab have also started to stablise on the south side of cairngorm and even the odd fresh tracks!
Poorer forecast for tomorrow so bad weather nav training for them me thinks.
